It’s obvious Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry makes a big impact on our state’s economy, but you might be surprised by the mind-blowing numbers behind Oklahoma’s drilling.

While drilling rigs had modest beginnings as simple wooden structures, today’s rigs are mechanical feats of engineering able to drill thousands of feet through rock and earth to extract our energy resources.
