There’s just something about fall and football in Oklahoma. It’s hard to describe to an outsider. It’s that feeling you get just putting on your school colors. The anxiousness that overcomes you the minute you step into the stadium. The thrill of victory. The agony of defeat.

And for most of us, well, probably all of us, the thought of oil and natural gas doesn’t even register. But the fact is football today is made possible by the production of oil and natural gas. From the manufacturing of helmets, pads and cleats to the funding of training facilities and new stadiums, oil and natural gas impacts it all.
